Delete your data

App: SheriaNet · Developer: WadesLabs by Edgar Agayi · Last updated: 3 May 2026
SheriaNet has no user accounts. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or password. The only data tied to your install is a random install identifier plus the analytics and crash logs associated with it. This page explains how to have those records removed.

What data exists for your install

Before deletion, the records linked to your install on our servers are limited to:

Bookmarks, saved cases, highlights and downloaded PDFs are stored only on your device — not on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes them automatically.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

  1. Open SheriaNet.
  2. Tap SettingsPrivacy.
  3. Tap Delete my data.
  4. Confirm. The app sends your install ID to us and the deletion is queued.

This also disables analytics on that install going forward.

Option 2 — By email

  1. Open SheriaNetSettingsAbout and copy your install ID (it looks something like sn-3f8a9b22-...).
  2. Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my SheriaNet data" and paste the install ID in the body.
  3. If you have already uninstalled the app and don't have the ID, email us anyway with the approximate install date, the device model you used (e.g. "Tecno Spark 10, Kenya"), and we will purge the closest matching analytics records on a best-effort basis.
  4. You will receive an automated acknowledgement within 1 business day, and a confirmation when deletion is complete (within 30 days).

What gets deleted

On a verified request, we permanently delete the following from our active systems within 30 days:

What we may keep, and for how long

For legal, security and operational reasons a small subset of information may be retained, as follows:

How long deletion takes

Just want to remove the app?

Uninstalling SheriaNet removes everything stored on your device (bookmarks, downloaded PDFs, settings). It does not automatically purge the analytics records on our servers — for that, use Option 1 or Option 2 above. To stop receiving notifications, turn them off in Settings → Notifications or in your Android system settings.
